Among the oldest autochthonous grape varieties of Southern Italy, with a Hellenic origin, greco is obtained from our vineyards located in the area of Tramezzo in Orta Nova.
CERTIFICATIONS: Organic wine – Certified by Bioagricert.
GROWIN SYSTEM: Espalier.
SOIL: Calcareous with much skeleton, flat land.
YIELD PER HECTARE: 120 quintals.
HARVEST: Middle of September
PRODUCTION: Greco grapes harvested perfectly ripe are promptly sent to the winery. After a soft pressing the must is cooled to obtain a natural settling, then fermented in conditioned stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 16°C in order to emphasize the typical aromas.
REFINEMENT: In steel tanks until the bottling.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 12,5 % vol.
TASTING NOTES: COLOUR – straw yellow; SCENT – floral, typical of the variety of origin, quite intense and very pleasant; TASTE: soft, round, harmonic taste.
PAIRING: It is ideal in combination with fish and crustacean, with fresh and soft cheese and pasta with light sauces.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 10-12°C.
